WEST OF ENGLAND OPEN WINTER FOURSOMES 2025/26 - Fairway Mats December to February Rules
Entry preference will be given to 135 pairs with the lowest combined handicap. The tournament is played in two stages: First stage to consist of 36 holes of Foursomes Stableford. During the stableford each tee time will have 3 pairs, therefore 3 balls in play. The 64 leading pairs with the best aggregate stableford scores in the first stage will progress through to the second stage (KO stage) which will be played as Foursomes Matchplay. Closing date 21 September 2025 at 12 noon. Pairs may request which group they wish to play in at the time of their entry, by email to accounts@burnhamgolf.co.uk, however the requests cannot be guaranteed. If no request is made pairs will be allocated to a group. Pairs will not be allowed to change to a different group after the closing date. NOTE for this years tournament during the months of December to February, FAIRWAY MATS will be compulsory if the balls lies in closely mown areas.
