WEST OF ENGLAND OPEN WINTER FOURSOMES - Group 2 - Rnd 2 Rules
Entry preference will be given to 120 pairs with the lowest combined handicap.
The tournament is played in two stages: First stage to consist of 54 holes of Foursomes Stableford. *If stage one consists of three groups (120 pairs) there will be a cut after the first two rounds of stableford with the 20 pairs with the highest aggregate stableford points over the first two rounds playing the last 18 holes on the relevant date for that group. The 32 leading pairs with the best aggregate stableford scores in the first stage will progress through to the second stage (KO stage) which will be played as Foursomes Matchplay.
Closing date 2 October 2022 at 12 noon.
Pairs may request which group they wish to play in at the time of their entry, by email to manager@burnhamgolf.co.uk, however thee requests cannot be guaranteed. If no request is made pairs will be allocated to a group. Pairs will not be allowed to change to a different group after the closing date.
There will be a 3rd place play off for the losing semi finalists on Sunday 5 March 2023.
